The general option offers you the opportunity to obtain a Master’s and/or Doctoral degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Montreal.
During your first year of the Master’s program, you will take courses that will allow you to acquire the basic concepts and techniques in molecular biology, genetics, biotechnology, etc. You will also conduct a research project in an accredited laboratory within the program. The second year of the Master’s program is dedicated to the research project.
The Doctoral program in Molecular Biology provides you with solid training in the field of research and allows you to learn the fundamental methods and techniques that are at the forefront of the study of biological macromolecules.
