Trois th\u00e9matiques principales de recherche sont actuellement investigu\u00e9es\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>Influence de l\u2019hypoxie sur le pouvoir pathog\u00e8ne et le fitness m\u00e9tabolique fongiques<\/em><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>D\u00e9couverte de nouvelles mol\u00e9cules antifongiques<\/em><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Control de la coordination entre la croissance (biomasse) et de la division cellulaire chez les eucaryotes.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"one-half  \">\n<h2>Research axis<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Systems biology<\/li>\n<li>Therapeutic approaches<\/li>\n<li>Genomics<\/li>\n<li>Intracellular signaling<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Research description<\/h2>\n<p>The main objective of Dr Sellam\u2019s research is to gain a deep knowledge on mechanisms that control the virulence of\u00a0the major human fungal pathogens <em>Candida albicans<\/em> and the superbug <em>C. auris<\/em>. This will lead to the identification of proteins or biological processes that could be targeted for antifungal therapeutics.
