{"id":3502,"date":"2013-08-01T11:12:14","date_gmt":"2013-08-01T15:12:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/biomol.umontreal.ca\/?page_id=3502"},"modified":"2017-06-07T12:34:39","modified_gmt":"2017-06-07T16:34:39","slug":"home","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/biomol.umontreal.ca\/en\/","title":{"rendered":"Home"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"one-half first \">\n<p>Welcome to the website of the Molecular Biology Programs of the Faculty of Medicine of the Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al.<\/p>\n<p>The MSc and PhD research programs in Molecular Biology are multidisciplinary training programs offered by the Faculty of Medicine with the assistance of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.<\/p>\n<p>These programs are designed to provide candidates a solid interdisciplinary training in Molecular Biology based on teaching procedures being at the forefront of knowledge and on the study of the most advanced methods and techniques in this area: biotechnology, genomics and proteomics. They are focused on the following areas and sectors: molecular genetics, gene activity regulation, molecular cancer, macromolecule chemistry, virology, biotechnology.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"one-half  \">\n<p>Interdisciplinary studies may be of interest to students who have basic training in various fields such as biochemistry, microbiology, immunology, biological and biomedical sciences.<\/p>\n<p>Molecular Biology graduates may work, inter alia, in multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the solution of health problems faced by modern societies.<br \/>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;
